The Crate Dragon is a fandom-inspired mystery crate company celebrating the biggest releases in books, games, and pop culture. Each crate is packed with themed goodies—from exclusive merch and collectibles to snacks, candles, and more.
What types of crates do you offer?
We offer two types:
Release Crates – Tied to major releases (e.g., a new romantasy novel or video game).
Evergreen Crates – Seasonal or occasion-based (birthdays, Christmas, etc.), perfect for gifting.
How often do new crates drop?
We release new themed crates regularly, based on fandom calendars. Keep an eye out for preorders a few weeks before each major launch—or sign up for our newsletter to get early access.
Whats inside a crate?
Each box includes 5–7 curated items, such as:
- Apparel (T-shirts, sweatshirts, etc.)
- Accessories (keychains, bookmarks, pins)
- Themed snacks & treats
- Homeware (candles, mugs, bookends)
- Collectibles or exclusive artwork
How much does a crate cost?
Prices vary slightly by theme and size, but most crates fall between $60–$150 NZD.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We’re based in New Zealand but we ship to most countries. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.
When will my crate arrive?
Crates are shipped shortly before or on the release date. You’ll receive tracking info as soon as your crate is on its way.
- NZ deliveries: 2–5 business days
- Australia: 5–10 business days
- International: Varies (7–21 days typical)
Can I return or exchange my crate?
Because our crates are curated to order, we don’t typically accept returns unless an item arrives damaged or there’s a problem with your order. If anything’s wrong, we’ll make it right—just contact us.
Can i buy a crate as a gift?
Absolutely! You can mark your order as a gift at checkout and even include a personal message.
